Natural stone is subject to variation in colour and configuration. Samples or images online may not show the extent of the variation that occurs. Aria Stone Design cannot guarantee that the materials supplied will match the exact product advertised online.  

Like all natural products that come from the earth, natural stone slabs are unique. No two slabs of stone are exactly the same and may vary in colour, density, hardness, veining, patterning, thickness and texture, to name a few. All natural stone slabs come with natural imperfections. These naturally occurring imperfections may include fissures, dull spots, pits, irregular marks, oxidization, cracks and so on. These irregularities are not deemed to be “defects” as they occur naturally within the stone.

Ornate edges cut by our experienced stone masons (like lambs' tongue, bullnose or chamfer) may not be completely smooth to the touch. There are many different minerals and materials within the natural stone as it has formed over time, and some of these materials are “harder” and "softer”. Therefore, ornate edges may have some rippling and not be completely smooth. All natural stone is subject to some degree of chipping, scratching, etching, and fading over time. Polished marble, limestone and travertine will etch when exposed to acidic products. By choosing a honed or satin finish stone, the etching will not be as visible as that of polished stone.

Despite these naturally occurring imperfections, please be aware that Aria Stone Design will take the upmost care in the fabrication and handling of your stone product. These imperfections are what makes natural stone so beautiful. It is unique to you. A one-of-a-kind product!  

All custom products will need to be quoted. The quotation process is based on information given by the client and will include items such as material type and colour, material thickness, edge detail, product design, and any other relevant details.

Aria Stone Design is not liable for any damage occurred during the handling of your product after pick-up or delivery. We can however assist in repairs or discuss options for a better outcome.

Returns or exchanges are not offered for change of mind as every piece is made to order.

If a product is accepted for refund or exchange, it must be returned in its original condition and packaging and proof of purchase must be supplied.

Aria Stone Design reserves the right not to accept cancellations. Cancellation of goods made to customer instruction and/or measurements will not be accepted unless prior arrangements are made with management and a fee of up to 50% of purchase price will be applicable.
